Love story. Both get married, then tragedy strucks. Simmi Garewal plays the psychotic widow who mistakes a man who looks exactly like her late husband quite well. She seems to be the star of the show and the main hero who we might as well forget as wasn't seen in many movies after Chalte Chalte. All in all this film features a fantastic soundtrack an interesting story failed by poor direction and acting. Capable Bappi Lahiri's music.

Story of the film goes like: Dilip Kumar belongs to a poor family. One day he comes across a beautiful woman on horseback, when all of a sudden the horse gets out of control, throwing the woman off, injuring her in the process. Dilip assists this woman( Nargis as Neeta),both get very friendly with each other.Rajan( Raj Kapoor ), Neeta's fiancee returns from overseas, and both of them get married. Dilip, who had fallen in love with Neeta by now, is heartbroken. Dilip has befriended Neeta's family and visits Neeta's home often. Rajan notices that Neeta talks and refers to Dilip a lot, he starts to suspect that both may be having an affair with each other. This creates tension amongst the three, changing from friendliness to animosity between the trio.
