This is a music video that the two of us directed and acted in together, which was created as a gift to my sister & brother-in-law for their Sangeet. Our inspiration was the story of when they started dating and was just a small portion of the full video creation. Originally this portion was performed live, but we decided to make this full music video for their keepsake DVD of the celebration event.
A bit about the filming process...There are 75 shots in the dance portion of the video. Every single shot, excluding the one overhead shot at the end of the "dream sequence", was filmed solely by the two of us. If we are both in the frame, then the camera was on a tripod. Notably, the video was filmed using only one camera.
(Much of the choreography was taken from the original "You are my Soniya" video from the Bollywood film "Khabi Kushi Khabi Gaum".)
