Here goes part 2. I added two nasheeds which are both 99 names of Allah. The last is a song called blessings. The third part of video 9 will be uploaded tomorrow. It will show this finished design accented by glitter. Adding glitter has become so popular I thought I would add that to one of my vids.

1. Henna Paste Recipe No 1 - Take three cups of boiling water, add to it two tablespoon of coffee or black tea and make a decoction (decoction = boil three cups and reduce it to half a cup), add a teaspoon of eucalyptus oil and the juice of half a lemon and one teaspoon of sugar. Mix carefully with the help of a spoon and leave for minimum six hours. It is best to leave overnight, but if you cannot, you have to set it aside for at least six hours in order to get a deep and beautiful brown-black color.
2. Henna paste recipe No 2 - take one cop of water and make tea (about four teaspoons of tea) letting it boil until it becomes less than one quarter. Add to it two tablespoons of coffee and sufficient henna to make a thin watery paste. Add to it five to six drops of clove oil, or the paste of five-six cloves. Allow it to cool for about 2-3 hours and then use as you need.
3. Henna paste recipe No 3 - take two tablespoons of pure henna powder. Take about five slices of dried lemon and boil it with a teaspoon of sugar until it becomes bright red. Allow to cool until warm and mix the henna powder. Let is soak overnight. Add to this paste half a spoon of geranium essential oil and one teaspoon of cajeput essential oil. In case you find that the paste has become too thick add to it a little water - warm would be best.
4. Henna paste recipe No 4 - take about three tablespoons of henna powder an mix it with half a spoon of mustard oil; add to the mixture the juice of half a lemon and adjust the consistency by adding water at room temperature. Put the mixture in a cone and you are ready to make designs. This mixture is best used when you need fast supplies as it does not need to be kept overnight.

Lemon and sugar mixture is added to the design. I usually let the design sit for about 20 minutes. At this point the paste is just starting to dry.
I dab on the mixture with a q tip or cotton ball. The mixture will dry and create a candy shell. This shell will cause the henna to stay wet longer, and will also protect the design as I go about my day. When the henna stays wet longer the skin is able to absorb longer and the stain is darker. Over night I wrapped the hand in a heating pad.
I will supply pictures of how the design took tomorrow in the part 5 slide show portion of this video.

The design did not come out as expected, but is beautiful none the less. You will have to excuse me this week. I have been down with the flu, so my hands have been shaky and joints are sore.
My attempt this week was to reproduce a bridal design I did two years ago. The finger design I changed a little from the original design.

The Good News!
Have you ever felt life is empty, void of purpose, useless or even pointless? These feelings are quite common.
So why do so many feel this way? The Bible says that "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God." What that means is that we have all separated ourselves from God, and we need God as a child needs his or her parents. You may ask: how did I separate myself from God? Well, God has given us a conscience, He has told us the difference between right and wrong and we all have chosen wrong at one time or another. We have all "sinned" by doing this, like lying, hating, lusting, cheating etc.
So what's the good news? The Good News is this: although God is just and obligated to not only separate us from Himself, but destroy us for our "sin," He loves us and He sent His Son Jesus to take our punishment and die in our place. Let me explain, as we said earlier we have all made mistakes. These mistakes have separated us from God, left us empty and left us so guilty that God in His justice should destroy us. Not wanting to destroy us, God made Himself into a man (Jesus); He lived as a man and even was tempted to do evil like we do, and once the correct time had come He (Jesus) was crucified and put to death for you and me. If you are willing to turn from sin, accept that sacrifice for yourself and live for God, Jesus will give you a new life, restoring your fellowship with God and sparing you from the judgment that you (like all of us) deserve.
Receiving Jesus Is as Easy as Praying this Prayer:
Lord Jesus, I recognize that I have sinned. I ask you Lord to forgive me my sin. I choose to turn from sin and follow you. I thank you Lord that you died in my place. I thank you for forgiving me my sin. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
